Bond Brothers Run Club started back in 2015, before we even had a taproom, built on a simple idea: get moving together, then grab a beer together. Over the years that community grew to thousands of members, and it felt only natural to turn that energy into something bigger: a 5k held for one purpose, raising money for causes that matter right here in our own backyard.

This year, we're proud to be running for Roots With Purpose. Proceeds raised through the Bond Brothers 5k goes directly to their work. Roots With Purpose is a Wake County-based nonprofit that's been showing up for neighbors facing hardship since 2021, connecting people with food, everyday essentials, and real community support when they need it most. Their mission is simple: meet people where they are, with dignity and compassion.

Every runner who joins the Bond Brothers 5k is fundraising for Roots With Purpose, with our full support behind them the whole way. It's a chance to do what we love: run, sweat, and share a beer after, while putting real dollars behind a cause that's making a difference close to home.
