About Team Drea
In 2022, Andrea Lytle Peet became the first person with ALS to do a marathon in all 50 states. The RDC Marathon has been benefitting the Team Drea Foundation since its beginning in 2017. Anyone is welcome to join us!!
Why am I fundraising?
I am raising money for Team Drea, which is Andrea Lytle Peet's fundraiser for ALS research. Andrea lives in Raleigh and was diagnosed with ALS in 2014. Most people who have ALS only live 2 to 5 years. She can't run in marathons anymore, but Andrea has ridden a recumbent bike in ALS fundraisers in all 50 states! I am riding a recumbent bike too, in honor of my Uncle Rob.
